It is our ongoing aim here at Phoenix Steel to offer an unrivalled service to both our existing and future customers supplying a quality service at the right price. Our sales staff is committed to offering a prompt and courteous sales response with a customer focused approach.

Phoenix Steel has operated a “One Stop” service centre since 1994. We are a company set up to supply any steel user who is looking for a quick and reliable service at competitive rates.

Our Office hours make it easier for our customers to place orders:- from 8:00 am to 6:00 Pm weekdays and most Saturday and Sunday mornings.  

To avoid offering extended processing lead times we also operate production on Nightshift. As our regular customers will endorse , this nightshift production allows us an unrivalled cutting service. Our ability to react to short lead times for cut to size sheets or sections ensures that our database of customers  is extensive and covers the full spectrum of steel users. As well as the larger steel users we also supply a number of smaller companies where a personal service is essential. 

Our flexible payment options help us to negate obstacles for hold ups in the processing of orders. For None account holders, or “one off “ customers we offer payment by Credit Card . This avoids the necessity to allow for cleared funds which can affect lead times.

We have an impressive array of production facilities that include: -

Decoiling :-     Our Decoiling line has extra levelling rollers capable of decoiling Sheet  to “Panel Flat “ tolerances. We can also de-coil up to 12,000mm  long sheets.

Guillotines:-    We have a number of guillotines and boast one of the speediest turnaround of precision cut blanks in the region . (If Lengths over 4900mm – please allow slightly longer lead-time).

Plasma/Profiling:-   Considered to be one the most accurate of methods available for cutting metal both thick and thin with great accuracy together with a wide range of other materials. Phoenix Steel Ltd offers a first class and professional service where our engineering skills are complimented by our understanding of the many diverse applications of finished products. We have three gas profiling machines with a max cutting distance of 12M x 2.5M with a thickness capability of 200mm. Plus an additional facility to cut 7M x 3.5M in both high definition plasma and conventional multi-head profiling.          

Bending:-          We have a large database of customers who require cutting and bending. Quite a large percentage of customers produce stair treads which need shaped and bent starting from 3mm up to 15mm.

Saws:-              We have a number of automatic saws and can cut precision pieces to very close tolerances . Cutting from 6 to 400mm round and up to 420mm square.

Extensive Sheet and Coil Stock Range:

A large percentage of our sheet stock is produced to "Panel Flat" tolerances suitable for C.N.C. work.  Our sheet stock range is one of the most extensive in the region and we endeavour to stock every popular size, gauge and grade available.

Very Healthy Stock Range of Re-rolled:

We also stock a good range of  the more popular sizes of general steel products such as Angle, Hollow Section, Flats, Rounds etc., allowing us to offer a "Just in Time" delivery service to all manufacturing companies.

Our range of products also includes expanded metal and perforated sheet in mild steel stainless and aluminium and weld mesh.

Our Quality System was implemented, based on the guidelines set by ISO 9000

(BS 5750) We offer full traceability of steel, whether goods are supplied in full sheets / lengths or cut to size. We hold computer records, and also hold manual records for additional back up. Our suppliers are continuously assessed and our measuring equipment regularly calibrated in conjunction with the set guidelines.

To compliment our new Profiling and Plasma cutting facilities we have extended our range of Reverse Mill Plate offering standard plate stock for immediate delivery, as well as cut to size material with short cutting lead-times.
